Workshop/Conference "Advanced nano-mechanical techniques for academic and industrial research"

A forum for the UK and European materials science research community and materials developers in industry, open to users of all instruments.
Who should attend?
- anyone interested or involved in the study, development or research at the nanoscale of materials and coatings
- those interested in high temperature measurements - special session on measurements upto 950 degrees C
- prospective users who wish to discover more about how nanoindentation can assist them in their research and development
Wednesday 13th Dec - afternoon workshop for new users and those interested in updating their practical knowledge and learning about the latest product developments. The workshop will include a Q&A session with experts covering the latest software developments, advanced calibration and data analysis. The conference dinner will be held on Wednesday evening.
Thursday 14th Dec - full day conference

If you would like to submit a paper or poster contribution, please send your proposed title,
by 30th September to firstname.lastname@example.org. Oral presentations are 20 minutes in duration, including questions.
The event is free to attend and includes dinner on the 13th. Accommodation booking information is on the registration form and further travel details will be supplied upon registration.
